Explorer Post 667  

     Members are between the ages of 14 and 21 and live in or around the fire district.   They participate in firematic training with firefighters, learn about the fundamentals of firefighting, fire prevention, basic first aid, trucks and equipment, and much more.  Uniforms and firefighting protective gear are supplied.  Our post advisors are active firemen who are dedicated to the success, interest, and safety of the program.  The post holds monthly meetings, attends department drills, and hosts their own drills frequently, and also participates in area explorer functions, including junior drill team racing.  The department's number one source of new active firefighters is from the explorer post! 	Explorer Post meetings and drills are held monthly.  Members are also encouraged to attend and participate in the weekly fire department drills held on Friday evenings.
	Learn about fire science, fire training, first aid, firefighting skills and more. Currently there are more than ten members.  Join us!!
